This Pinot Noir features a bright cherry red color with a medium depth, giving off aromas of ripe strawberries and cherries. Savory notes of bracken and earth provide a well-balanced contrast. The flavors of raspberry are complemented by a fresh acidity often found in cool climate Pinot Noirs. This wine pairs perfectly with a classic roast duck breast dish accompanied by an orange, cranberry, and walnut salad.

This Pinot Noir is sourced from our two family vineyards, Upton Run and Billis located in the Strathbogie Ranges. It is fermented using wild yeasts and aged for 5 months in a combination of new (20%) and old (80%) French oak barrels. A small addition of Sangiovese (15%) is included in the final blend to enhance the overall complexity of the wine, with its dusty tannins, bright red hues, and savory notes on the palate.
